Context: A plan has two meters. A comment credit is one comment moderation checks: live moderation spends one for every comment it checks, on the ads, posts or both you chose for that page, and post cleanup spends one for every comment it checks. An AI credit pays for what the AI writes for you: an answer from an AI agent uses 5 and a translation 1. Your own replies, the automations you wrote, contacts and DMs cost nothing.

Before you start

1. A comment counts once, however many rules look at it.

2. Replies you write, hides you do by hand, and messages you send never count.

3. Live moderation and cleanup draw on the same monthly allowance.

4. AI credits are a second allowance, the same size as the comment allowance, and reset with it.

Steps

Step 1 of 4: Read your usage.

Where: Settings, Account, under Usage this period. Comments shows what you have used out of the plan allowance for this period. The second tile, AI credits, does the same for what the AI wrote.

You should see: Used against allowance, for every page together.

Step 2 of 4: Know what spends a comment credit.

Where: A comment arriving where moderation covers a page (ads, posts or both, set under Moderation) and being checked by your rules. A comment shown or acted on by a post cleanup check. That is all: comments outside that scope are free, and so is every automation you wrote.

You should see: A number that moves with your comment volume, not with your activity.

Step 3 of 4: Know what does not.

Where: Replies you write, hiding and deleting by hand, bulk actions, messages you send, loading a post in Post cleanup and exports use no credit of either kind.

You should see: Working the inbox all day costs nothing extra.

Step 4 of 4: Know what spends an AI credit.

Where: An answer or a draft from an AI agent uses 5, on a comment or in a DM, and so does a reply you ask it to generate. A translation uses 1, a set of message variations 1, and one test answer from your agent 1. Build with AI uses what each build takes. When the agent does not have the knowledge to answer, nothing is charged. Moderation never uses AI credits, the AI rules included.

You should see: A second number that moves only when the AI writes for you.

If something is off

Problem: My usage jumped

Fix: Either a campaign brought comments, or a cleanup checked a large post. Insights shows which, with the live and cleanup split.

Problem: I am at 90 percent

Fix: You are emailed a heads-up. At 100 percent, moderation pauses until you upgrade or the period rolls; your automations keep running.

Problem: Does a hidden comment still count

Fix: Yes, it was processed. What is free is what you do afterwards.

Problem: My AI credits ran out

Fix: The AI stops writing until the period resets or you move to a bigger plan: agent answers, translations and Build with AI wait. Moderation, your own replies and the automations you wrote keep running.

Common questions

Question: Do replies from an AI agent or an automation use up credits?

Answer: An automation you wrote uses none, and neither do your own replies, hiding or deleting by hand, bulk actions, messages or exports. An answer an AI agent writes uses 5 AI credits, on a comment or in a DM, and a translation uses 1; neither touches the comment allowance.

Question: If several rules look at the same comment, is it charged more than once?

Answer: No. A comment counts once, however many rules look at it. One comment processed is one credit.

Question: Does post cleanup use the same credits as live moderation?

Answer: Yes. Live moderation and post cleanup draw on the same monthly allowance. Cleanup spends one credit for every comment it checks, and loading a post is free.

Question: How many AI credits does a plan include?

Answer: As many as it has moderated comments: Starter 1,000 a month, Growth 3,000, Pro 10,000 and Elite 25,000, with 300 on Mini and 500 on Lite. Both allowances reset at the start of each billing period and neither rolls over. The trial includes 250 of each.
