Common questions

Will upgrading resume moderation if it paused at 100 percent?

Yes. An upgrade takes effect immediately, the meter allowance grows, and anything that was paused resumes. The Account tab then shows the allowance of the new plan.

Do I lose my rules, agents or history when I change plan?

Nothing is deleted. On a smaller plan, the newest pages, agents and seats beyond it are paused, features it lacks close, and history older than its window is not shown; an upgrade brings all of it back.

Where do I move to a smaller plan?

Change plan on the Account tab, the same place as an upgrade: pick the smaller plan and confirm. It starts at the next bill, so you keep what you paid for, and Undo on the Account tab calls it off before then.

Guide: Upgrade or downgrade

This page: https://commentwatchdog.com/help/account/upgrade-or-downgrade

Topic: Account, plans and credits

Time: about 2 minutes

Who can do it: Owner

Author: https://anantgupta.xyz (Anant Gupta, founder of CommentWatchDog)

Start in the app: https://app.commentwatchdog.com/en/settings/account

Result when done: Your plan matches what you actually use, and changing it takes a minute.

Context: Changing plan is one page. An upgrade takes effect immediately, which is what you want when processing has paused or an action needs more room. A downgrade applies from the next period, so you keep what you paid for; on the smaller plan, anything beyond it is paused, never deleted.

Before you start

1. Only the owner can change the plan.

2. An upgrade applies at once; a downgrade applies from the next period.

3. Nothing is deleted; on a smaller plan, what does not fit is paused until you upgrade.

Steps

Step 1 of 3: Open the Account tab.

Where: Settings, then Account. Your current plan is at the top with its renewal date.

You should see: The plan you are on, and what it includes.

Step 2 of 3: Pick the new one.

Where: Change plan opens the plans, with Monthly and Yearly above them. A bigger plan starts now and charges the difference; a smaller one starts at the next bill, and the Account tab shows it with Undo until then.

Step 3 of 3: Check the meter afterwards.

Where: The Account tab. The allowance shows the new plan, and anything that was paused resumes.
