How this page works

Your browser asks the app's own health check when you open this page. It is the same check our uptime monitor asks every two minutes, and it only says "operational" when the database answers and the moderation runner has done its work in the last five minutes. A process that serves pages but has stopped hiding comments does not count as healthy.

Nothing here is typed by hand or delayed. If something is wrong, this page says so before we do.
