Ask a question and check the answer
Free for 7 days, no credit card required
Ten answer types, each read the way people really type: “saturday please”, “5k”, “maria at gmail dot com”. Answers that don’t fit are asked again, and silence has its own way out.
- Meta's official API, no password, nothing installed
- Unlimited contacts on every plan
- AI replies in your customer's language
- From $29 a month
Asked, read, checked, saved
Options as taps, typed answers understood, a retry when it doesn’t fit, and two ways on.
- 01
Ask, and offer the taps
A choice, yes or no, or a rating goes out with its options as quick replies. A Skip chip is yours to add.
Meta: 13 quick replies, so up to 13 options
- 02
Read the way they write it
“the large one”, “#2”, “1,500”, “5k”, “12/10/2026” or “tomorrow”: typed answers are read the way people type them.
- 03
Asked again when it doesn’t fit
An answer outside the range or the pattern gets your retry message, once, twice or three times.
- 04
Two ways on
“Answered” goes one way, or one way per option. Skip, too many misses or silence goes “No answer”.
Every answer type and its check
The app’s own names for each setting, and the rule behind it.
Ten answer types
Each one read and checked as people really type.
- Open answerAnything they type
Anything they type, with an optional length range in characters. An emoji counts as one.
- Multiple choicePick one of your options
“Up to 13. They tap one, or type it.” Typed answers like “Medium.”, “#2” or “the large one” pick the option.
Meta: 13 quick replies, 20 characters each
- Yes or noTwo ways, yes and no
Two taps, Yes and No, each its own way. Typed yes and no are understood in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Arabic, from “yeah” and “nope” to “sí”, “oui” and “não”, and 👍 or 👎.
- EmailTheir email, checked
Saved on the contact. Read from a sentence (“maria at gmail dot com”), and a likely typo such as gmial.com is checked with them before it is kept.
- Phone numberTheir number, read right
Saved on the contact, read with your page’s country when they leave out the code. Obvious fakes such as 1234567890 are refused.
- NumberA number, as they write it
Read as people write it: “1,500”, “1.5”, “5k”, Arabic digits. An allowed range is optional.
- DateA day, however they write it
“They can write 12 Oct, 12/10/2026 or 2026-10-12”, “tomorrow” or a weekday, in your page’s day and month order. “Only today or later” is one switch.
- WebsiteA link to a site
A link to a site, with https:// added when they leave it out.
- Rating 1 to 5A score
“They tap a number from 1 to 5.” A Condition can check it as a number.
- Matches a patternCodes and formats
Order number, US ZIP code, Indian PIN code, UK postcode, Instagram handle, letters only, digits only, or your own regex. A runaway regex is refused.
When it doesn’t fit
- Ask againRetries
Once, twice or 3 times, with your retry message. After that, the No answer way.
- Skip buttonA way to skip
“A Skip chip under the question. Skipping goes the No answer way.” It takes one of the 13 quick reply places.
- Wait for an answerHow long it waits
From 1 to 23 hours, 23 by default. No answer in that time goes the No answer way.
Meta: automated messages only within 24 hours of their last message
- Try an answerTest it in the panel
Type what someone might send in the panel and see “Fits” or “Doesn’t fit”, from the same check the flow runs.
Where the answer goes
- Remember it asOn the contact
Email and phone on the contact itself; a text answer can be the Contact’s Name; anything else under a name you choose. It shows on the person in People, and a Condition can check it.
- Only for this conversationOnly for this run
Kept for this conversation and used in later messages and conditions, never saved on the contact.
- Each option leads its own wayA way per option
A choice or yes or no can send each option to its own step, or send every answer the same way and still save it.
- Their own email in one tap
On Messenger an email or phone question offers the person’s own address or number as a one-tap reply when their profile has one. Instagram refused both in a live test, so it is never offered there.
Meta: the email and phone quick replies work on Messenger only
Inside an open chat
A question waits for the answer, so it needs the chat open: after a tap, a reply or a message.
The Ask a question step, as you set it
The step selected on the canvas, its panel open with the ten answer types, Number chosen, and the question.
- Answer type
- Ten types, each with its check.
- The question
- Up to 1,000 characters on Instagram.
Every number, and who sets it

Questions people ask
Short answers before you start.
Ten: an open answer, multiple choice, yes or no, email, phone number, number, date, website, a rating from 1 to 5, and an answer that matches a pattern such as an order number, a ZIP code or your own regex.
They get your retry message and are asked again, once, twice or three times as you choose. After the last miss the flow goes the No answer way.
No. A typed answer counts when it names one option: “Medium.”, “#2”, “3️⃣” or “the large one” all pick it. Yes or no understands typed answers in five languages.
From 1 to 23 hours, 23 by default. Silence for that long, a tap on Skip, or too many answers that don’t fit go the No answer way, which can lead to its own step.
Email and phone on the contact itself, any other answer under a name you choose, shown on the person in People and readable by a Condition. Or keep it only for this conversation. Custom fields live in People, a Set field step can change them later, and Instagram lead generation puts it all together.
Yes. An address written as a sentence is read as one, and a likely typo such as gmial.com is checked with them before it is kept.
Instagram refused the email and phone quick replies in a live test, so they are offered only on Messenger, and only when the person’s profile has an address or number.
