Common questions

Do I need a credit card to start the CommentWatchDog free trial?

No. The trial is seven days with every feature and 250 comments included; no card is taken and nothing is charged during the trial.

Can I use the free trial on more than one page?

Yes. During the trial every feature is included at Elite level, on as many pages as you like, and the trial meter counts everything it handles across them. After it, the plan you choose decides how many pages stay on.

Where do I see how many trial days I have left?

The left sidebar reads Trial ends in N days. Settings, then Account, shows the end date and how many of the 250 comments you have used.

Am I charged anything when the trial ends?

No. On the eighth day without a plan, moderation pauses and nothing is charged. Choose a plan on the Account tab and it starts at once, so moderation never pauses.

Before you start

1. No card is taken and nothing is charged during the trial.

2. A page can use one free trial, once.

3. Whichever runs out first, the days or the comments, pauses moderation.

Where: The sidebar reads Trial ends in N days. Settings, then Account, shows the date and the comments meter.

Step 3 of 3: Pick a plan before it ends.

Where: Choose a plan on the Account tab. Everything you set up keeps running the moment a plan starts.

If something is off

Problem: The trial ended early

Fix: The 250 comments ran out before the seven days did.

Problem: This page already used its free trial

Fix: A page runs one trial, once. Pick a plan and it connects.

Problem: Nothing works after day eight

Fix: Moderation pauses without a plan. Nothing is deleted; picking a plan resumes it.
