Delete your CommentWatchDog data

The short version
- Four routes, each complete on its own. Whichever you choose, deletion is permanent and finishes within 30 days at the latest, usually within minutes.
- You never need our permission: delete everything in the app, remove a single page, remove the app on Facebook, or write to us.
- Only the invoices and payment records the law requires us to keep remain, with our payment processor. Nothing about your pages, comments or messages.
- Encrypted database backups age out within 30 days.

1In the app#
Settings, then Account, then Delete account. This permanently removes your workspace, connected pages, access tokens, rules, insights and every comment and message we hold. Your subscription is cancelled at the same time and nothing further is charged. You receive one final confirmation email.
2A single page#
Settings, then Pages, then Remove next to the page. Its token and its comments are deleted; the rest of your workspace stays. To disconnect Facebook entirely while keeping your account: Settings, then Pages, then Disconnect Facebook.
3From Facebook#
Remove CommentWatchDog under Facebook Settings, then Business Integrations. If you also choose Delete data there, Facebook sends us a signed deletion request and we delete everything tied to your Facebook account automatically. Facebook shows you a confirmation code and a status link for that request.
4By email#
Write to support@commentwatchdog.com from the email address on your account. We complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm by reply.
5What remains afterwards#
Invoices and payment records that the law requires us to keep, held by our payment processor for the statutory period. Nothing about your pages, comments or messages. Encrypted database backups age out within 30 days.
