- The email did not arrive
- Check spam; ask again after a minute.
- That code is not right
- Use the newest code; five tries, then a new one.

- Ask an owner to invite you again.
Common questions
Is there a password for CommentWatchDog?
No. You sign in with a six-digit code or a one-click link that CommentWatchDog emails you, or with Continue with Google. There is nothing to reset.
Can I change the email address I sign in with?
Not yet. Your sign-in email cannot be changed, so it is the address you signed up or were invited with. A different address is a different account.
Can I use an invitation link a second time?
No. An invitation link expires or stops working once used. If you never accepted it, the owner or an administrator can revoke the old invitation and send a new one from the Users tab.
Will the sign-in email arrive if I turned off email notifications?
Yes. Sign-in codes and links are essential emails and arrive whatever your notification preferences say.

Context: There is no password to forget. Almost every sign-in problem is one of three: the email with your code did not arrive, an invitation that was never accepted, or the account being on a different email than you remember.
Before you start
1. Signing in is a six-digit code or a one-click link sent to your email, or Continue with Google.
2. Your sign-in email cannot be changed yet, so it is the one you signed up or were invited with.
3. An invitation link expires or stops working once used.
Steps
Step 1 of 4: Ask for a code.
Where: On the sign-in page, enter your email and press Continue. A six-digit code and a sign-in link arrive within a minute, whatever your notification switches say.

You should see: The check page, waiting for the six digits; the link in the same email signs in on its own.
Step 2 of 4: Enter the code, or open the link.
Where: The code is six digits: paste it or type it and it submits on its own. Five wrong tries end that code; ask for a new one from the same page. The link in the email signs in whichever device opens it.

You should see: Your inbox, signed in.
Step 3 of 4: Check the address.
Where: Use the address you signed up or were invited with. A different address is a different account, and the sign-in page says so.
You should see: The right account, with your workspace in it.
Step 4 of 4: Ask for a new invitation.
Where: If you never accepted one, the owner or an administrator can revoke the old invitation and send a new one from the Users tab.

You should see: A fresh link that sets your name.
If something is off
Problem: The email did not arrive
Fix: Check spam and the Promotions tab. Sign-in emails are essential and always sent; ask for a new one after a minute.
Problem: That code is not right
Fix: A newer email replaces the older one, so use the newest code you were sent. After five wrong tries, ask for a new one.
Problem: Too many attempts
Fix: Wait fifteen minutes and try again.
Problem: I was removed from the workspace
Fix: Ask an owner to invite you again.
