Common questions

Where does a draft show?

In the Messages thread under the customer's message: Draft by the agent, with Send, Edit and Discard. Edit puts the text in the composer.

Does the customer see it was an AI?

Not in automatic mode: the team sees the AI mark on the bubble; the customer sees a normal reply from the page.

Guide: Let your AI agent answer messages

This page: https://commentwatchdog.com/help/keyword-automations/let-your-ai-agent-answer-messages

Topic: Automation

Time: about 3 minutes

Who can do it: Owner, Administrator or Manager

Author: https://anantgupta.xyz (Anant Gupta, founder of CommentWatchDog)

Start in the app: https://app.commentwatchdog.com/en/inbox

Result when done: The agent that answers your comments answers DMs too, as drafts a person sends or automatically, and hands over when asked.

Context: The same agent, its persona and its knowledge, on the messages no keyword answered. Draft for a person to send, or reply automatically with a small AI mark the team sees and the customer does not. It hands over when they ask for a human, when it is not confident, or when they say one of your words; a daily cap and business hours bound it.

Before you start

1. Starter and above, and an agent on the page.

2. Each automatic answer uses credits from the account's pool; out of credits, it drafts.

3. The agent never answers publicly here.

Steps

Step 1 of 3: Pick the agent.

Where: Step 1, Which agent: the agents on this account; one not on this page yet is added to it when you save.

You should see: The agent's name and how many FAQs it has.

Step 2 of 3: Choose draft or automatic.

Where: Step 2, How it answers: Draft for a person to send (it waits in the thread with Send, Edit, Discard) or Reply automatically.

You should see: The phone shows the answer with the AI mark.

Step 3 of 3: Set when it hands over, then save.

Where: Step 3, Hand to a person when: they ask for a human, the agent is not confident, they say one of these words; the cap per day. Advanced settings: business hours, notify the team.

If something is off

Problem: The agent answered a question badly

Fix: Its knowledge and FAQ are under Settings › AI agents. Draft mode lets a person read every answer first.

Problem: It stopped answering

Fix: Out of credits it drafts instead; the editor says so with a link to your plan. Or the thread was handed over and is a person's until it resumes.
