Result when done: Comments that match get a public reply in your own words, with variations, a mention, and on Facebook ads a private fallback when Meta refuses the public one.
Context: The public reply: the fortieth "how much?" answered under the comment, so everyone sees it. Variations keep a post from showing the same sentence five times, the mention starts it with their name, and the blocks add a private message beside it, a cap per day, a hidden comment afterwards, and the archive.
Before you start
1. Lite and above.
2. Public replies are capped at 500 characters.
3. On Facebook ads a share of comments cannot be replied to in public; the fallback sends the same text privately.
Steps
Step 1 of 4: Choose where and which comments, as for a DM.
Where: Where: any post or ad, or specific posts, with your next post as the first tile. Which comments: contains a keyword, exactly these words, or any comment.

Step 2 of 4: Write the reply and its variations.
Where: Step 3, The reply: the text, Add variation up to five, Write 3 more with AI, and Mention the commenter, which starts the reply with their name: a real tag on Facebook, their username on Instagram.

You should see: The phone shows the reply under the comment.
Step 3 of 4: Open Advanced settings.
Where: Also send them a DM (the public reply says "sent you a DM", the details go privately; on a Facebook ad this one still goes when Meta refuses the public reply). Cap replies per day. If Meta refuses the public reply, send it privately (Facebook). Hide the comment after replying. Wait before replying. Archive the comment in your inbox after.

If something is off
Problem: Meta refused the reply on an ad
Fix: Facebook can refuse public replies on some ad comments. With the fallback on, the same text goes privately; the row says Needs attention and the runs show each one.
Problem: It replied to a question my agent should have taken
Fix: Rules run first, then automations, then the agent. Narrow the keywords, or use Exactly these words.
Problem: Too many replies in an hour
Fix: Cap replies per day. Comments past the cap are skipped, never queued for days.
