Result when done: People go down two or more paths in the shares you set, to test openers.
Context: A/B split sends each person down one path, picked at random by the shares you set: half get one opening line, half another. The flow's Insights then show how many took each path and how far they went.
Before you start
1. 2 to 4 paths; the shares add up to 100%.
2. It works anywhere in a flow, on both platforms.
3. Each person goes down one path.
Steps
Step 1 of 3: Add A/B split to your flow.
Where: Open the flow (Automation, then the flow's row). In the Steps panel on the left, under Decide, drag A/B split onto the canvas, or select the step it should follow and click A/B split. On a phone: Add step at the top left of the canvas, then A/B split under Decide.

You should see: The A/B split card is on the canvas and its settings panel is open (a sheet on a phone).
Step 2 of 3: Set the paths and their shares.
Where: Panel: each path's share in percent (the boxes beside A and B), Add path up to 4, and Even split to share them equally. Total shows under the shares.

You should see: Total 100%, and one way out per path on the card.
Step 3 of 3: Read the result.
Where: Insights on the bar at the top: each way shows how many took it and what share of those who reached the step; each step after it shows how many reached it.
Screenshot: https://commentwatchdog.com/media/shots/dm-flow-insights-split.en.webp (Insights on: the split's paths, A with 9 people and 50%, B with 9 and 50%. Each step after them shows how many reached it.)

You should see: N took this way, with its percentage, on each path.
