Result when done: You know whether the limit is your role here or your role on Facebook.
Context: Two different permissions can stop you. Your role in CommentWatchDog decides which tabs and settings you can change. Your role on the Facebook Page decides what Meta will let the app do at all.

Before you start:
1. Moderators act on comments; managers also change moderation; administrators manage pages and people; owners handle billing.
2. Even an owner cannot act on a Page their Facebook account does not manage.
3. The message names which of the two is missing where it can.

Steps:
Step 1 of 2: Check your role here.
Where: Settings, Users. Your row shows your role and your page access.

You should see: What you are allowed to change, and on which pages.

Step 2 of 2: Check the Facebook side.
Where: The connection has to be made by an account that manages the Page. If a task fails with a Meta permission error, that is the side to fix.

You should see: Which pages the connection can act on.

If something is off:
Problem: I am an administrator and still cannot change billing
Fix: Billing is the owner role.
Problem: I cannot see a page my colleague can
Fix: Your page access is limited to certain pages.
Problem: Meta refuses an action for everyone
Fix: The connecting Facebook account may have a limited role on that Page.

Common questions:
Question: What can each CommentWatchDog role do?
Answer: Moderators act on comments; managers also change moderation; administrators manage pages and people; owners handle billing. Your row under Settings, Users shows your role and your page access.
Question: Can the workspace owner act on any Facebook Page?
Answer: No. Even an owner cannot act on a Page their Facebook account does not manage. Your role on the Facebook Page decides what Meta will let the app do at all, so the connection has to be made by an account that manages the Page.
Question: Does the permission message say which permission is missing?
Answer: Where it can, yes. The message names whether it is your role in CommentWatchDog or your role on the Facebook Page. A task that fails with a Meta permission error points to the Facebook side.
Question: Is there a limit on how many team members I can add?
Answer: Yes, by plan, counting you: Mini and Lite 1, Starter 2, Growth 5, Pro 15 and Elite unlimited. Each person has one of four roles, Owner, Administrator, Manager or Moderator, and on Growth and above a manager or moderator can be limited to specific pages.
