Guide: Missing pages when adding
This page: https://commentwatchdog.com/help/troubleshooting/missing-pages-when-adding
Topic: Troubleshooting
Time: about 2 minutes
Who can do it: Owner or Administrator
Author: https://anantgupta.xyz (Anant Gupta, founder of CommentWatchDog)
Start in the app: https://app.commentwatchdog.com/en/settings/pages
Result when done: The page you manage appears in the list.
Context: A page is missing because it was not selected in the Facebook dialog, because your Facebook role on it is limited, or because it is an Instagram account without a linked Page.

Before you start:
1. The list shows what Meta offers for the connected login.
2. Full Page access is more reliable than a task-level role.
3. Instagram appears through its linked Facebook Page.

Steps:
Step 1 of 3: Reconnect and select everything.
Where: Reconnect Facebook on the Pages tab, and tick every page in the dialog.

You should see: The page appears under Available to add.

Step 2 of 3: Check the role on Facebook.
Where: The Page has to be one your Facebook account manages. A limited role may not be offered to apps.
You should see: With full access, the page is offered.

Step 3 of 3: Refresh for Instagram.
Where: Link the account to a Page in the Instagram app, then Refresh pages here.

You should see: The account appears with the Instagram mark.

If something is off:
Problem: No pages found on this Facebook account
Fix: The login manages none, or none were selected. Reconnect with the right account.
Problem: It is a group or a personal profile
Fix: Those cannot be moderated by an app.

Common questions:
Question: Why is my Instagram account not in the list of pages to add?
Answer: Because Instagram appears through its linked Facebook Page. Link the account to a Page in the Instagram app, then use Refresh pages on the Pages tab; the account appears with the Instagram mark.
Question: Does a task-level Facebook role let me add a page?
Answer: Not reliably. A limited role may not be offered to apps at all; full Page access is more reliable, and with full access the page is offered. The Page has to be one your Facebook account manages.
Question: Where does the list of pages I can add come from?
Answer: From Meta. The list shows what Meta offers for the connected login, so a page is missing when it was not selected in the Facebook dialog, when your Facebook role on it is limited, or when it is an Instagram account without a linked Page.
Question: Can I add pages from a second Facebook account to the same workspace?
Answer: No. CommentWatchDog uses one Facebook login per workspace. Every Facebook page and Instagram account that login manages can be added, up to your plan's page limit, but pages under a different Facebook login cannot be added to the same workspace.
