Context: CommentWatchDog stores what it needs to show you your comments and to answer for what it did: the comments themselves, what happened to them, your settings, and your team.

Before you start:
1. Comments are stored so the inbox, filters and history work.
2. Deleted comments keep a record in the Bin, which is why you can answer for a removal.
3. Deleting the account removes the workspace and its data.

Steps:
Step 1 of 3: Comments and what happened to them.
Where: Each comment, its author name, its page, its labels, and the actions taken on it. That is what the inbox, the filters and Insights read.

Where: Rules, agents, automations, saved replies, page groups, roles and page access. These are your configuration.

Step 3 of 3: What is not stored.
Where: Card details are held by Stripe, not by us. Your Facebook password is never seen; the connection uses tokens Meta issues.
You should see: Two sensitive things that never sit in this app.

If something is off:
Problem: How long are comments kept
Fix: As long as your workspace exists. Deleting the account removes them.
Problem: Can I remove one comment record
Fix: Clear bin removes the records in the Bin. Comments in the inbox belong to the pages you watch.
Problem: Where is it hosted
Fix: On our own servers in Europe, with off-site backups.

Common questions:
Question: Which sensitive details does CommentWatchDog never hold?
Answer: Your card details and your Facebook password. Card details are held by Stripe, not by CommentWatchDog, and the Facebook connection uses tokens Meta issues, so the password is never seen.
Question: Why are my comments stored at all?
Answer: So the inbox, filters, history and Insights work. Each comment is kept with its author name, its page, its labels and the actions taken on it, which gives you a history you can search and answer for.
Question: Is anything kept about a comment after it is deleted?
Answer: Yes. Deleted comments keep a record in the Bin, which is why you can answer for a removal; the inbox, the Bin and Insights all read the same stored history.
Question: Which of my settings does CommentWatchDog keep?
