Guide: The posts library
This page: https://commentwatchdog.com/help/post-cleanup/the-posts-library
Topic: Post cleanup and tasks
Time: about 3 minutes
Who can do it: Anyone on your team
Author: https://anantgupta.xyz (Anant Gupta, founder of CommentWatchDog)
Start in the app: https://app.commentwatchdog.com/en/tools/posts
Result when done: You can see which of your posts need cleaning without hunting for links.
Context: CommentWatchDog notices every post your comments arrive on and keeps them in one library, with how many comments each has, how many were flagged, and when it was last cleaned.

Before you start:
1. Posts appear here as comments arrive on your pages, and whenever you load one by link.
2. The library is per workspace and shows every page you have access to.
3. Opening a post from here is instant when its comments are already loaded.

Steps:
Step 1 of 4: Open the library.
Where: Tools, then Posts, or the link under the URL box in Post cleanup.
Link: https://app.commentwatchdog.com/en/tools/posts (Open the posts library)

You should see: Every post found on your pages, with its comment count, flagged count and when it was last cleaned.

Step 2 of 4: Sort to find the work.
Where: Sort offers Latest comment, Most comments, Most flagged, Recently cleaned up, Recently moderated and Most new since moderation. Most flagged is where the damage is; Most new since moderation is what has changed since you last looked.

You should see: The list re-orders, so the posts worth your time are at the top.

Step 3 of 4: Filter by state.
Where: The status filter: All, Untouched, AI moderated, New comments, Cleaned up, Up to date. Untouched means the post has comments and neither moderation nor a cleanup has run.

Screenshot: https://commentwatchdog.com/media/shots/posts-library-phone.en.webp (The same on a phone.)
You should see: A list of exactly the posts in that state, per page and per platform if you narrow further.

Step 4 of 4: Open one and clean it.
Where: A row opens the post in cleanup with its comments loaded. Refresh pulls in anything new since it was last opened.

You should see: The post with its comments, ready to check and act on.

If something is off:
Problem: A post is missing
Fix: A post appears once a comment on it arrives, or when you load it by link. Paste its link once and it stays.
Problem: The counts look old
Fix: They are from the last time the post was loaded. Refresh the post to pull in what is new.
Problem: Nothing is listed at all
Fix: No comments have arrived yet on any page, and nothing has been loaded by link.

Common questions:
Question: Does the posts library include Instagram posts as well as Facebook?
Answer: Yes. It covers every page you have access to in the workspace, and you can narrow the list per page and per platform.
Question: Do my teammates see the same posts library?
Answer: The library is per workspace and shows every page a person has access to, so a teammate with access to fewer pages sees fewer posts.
Question: What does Untouched mean in the posts library?
Answer: The post has comments and neither moderation nor a cleanup has run on it. It is one of the status filters, with All, AI moderated, New comments, Cleaned up and Up to date.
Question: Which sort shows the posts with the most spam?
Answer: Most flagged, which is where the damage is. Sort also offers Latest comment, Most comments, Recently cleaned up, Recently moderated and Most new since moderation, which is what changed since you last looked.
