Result when done: You know why the like icon is missing on an Instagram comment.
Context: Liking a comment as the page is available on Facebook and not on Instagram. Meta does not offer it to apps for Instagram, so the icon is not shown rather than shown and broken.

Before you start:
1. The action row changes with the comment; a missing icon means the platform does not allow it.
2. You can still like an Instagram comment yourself in the Instagram app.
3. Everything else on Instagram works the same as Facebook.

Steps:
Step 1 of 2: Compare the two rows.
Where: Open a Facebook comment and an Instagram comment in the inbox. The Facebook one has a like icon; the Instagram one does not.

You should see: The row shows only what the platform allows.

Step 2 of 2: Like it in Instagram if you want to.
Where: Open the comment on Instagram from the row, then like it there as your account.
You should see: The like appears on Instagram, as any like does.

If something is off:
Problem: Why not show it and let it fail
Fix: Because a button that never works is worse than no button.
Problem: Will it be added
Fix: Only if Meta opens it to apps.

Question: Can I like a comment as my page from CommentWatchDog?
Answer: On Facebook, yes: a Facebook comment row has a like icon. On Instagram, Meta does not offer liking to apps, so the icon is not shown.
Question: If an icon is missing on a comment row, is something broken?
Answer: No. The action row changes with the comment; a missing icon means the platform does not allow that action, so it is not shown rather than shown and broken.
Question: How can I still like an Instagram comment?
Answer: In the Instagram app. Open the comment on Instagram from the row, then like it there as your account; the like appears on Instagram as any like does.
