Start in the app: https://app.commentwatchdog.com/en/settings/pages
Result when done: A page that lost its connection starts receiving comments again, with nothing else changed.
Context: Facebook access expires when a password changes, when permissions are reviewed, or when someone revokes the app. Reconnecting is one dialog, and it keeps your pages, rules, agents and history exactly as they are.

Before you start:
1. Only an owner or an administrator can reconnect.
2. Nothing you configured is lost by reconnecting.
3. Comments resume from the reconnection; the gap is not backfilled.

Steps:
Step 1 of 3: Notice the banner.
Where: A banner at the top of the Pages tab names how many pages lost their connection, and the affected rows read Disconnected.

You should see: A statement of what stopped, rather than a silent gap in your inbox.

Step 2 of 3: Press Reconnect Facebook.
Where: On the banner or beside Connected as. The Facebook dialog opens; keep every page selected and allow every permission.

You should see: Connected as your name again, and the pages return to Receiving comments.

Step 3 of 3: Catch up on the gap.
Where: Comments posted while the connection was down were never collected. Load the affected post in Post cleanup to fetch them from the platform.

You should see: Every comment on that post, including the ones from the gap.

If something is off:
Problem: It disconnects again quickly
Fix: Someone is revoking the app on Facebook, or the account that connected it lost access to the Pages. Reconnect with an account that manages them.
Problem: Only some pages came back
Fix: Pages left unselected in the dialog stay disconnected. Reconnect and select them.
Problem: I cannot reconnect
Fix: Only owners and administrators can. Ask one of them.

Common questions:
Question: Why did my Facebook connection stop working?
Answer: Facebook access expires when a password changes, when permissions are reviewed, or when someone revokes the app. Reconnecting is one dialog and keeps your pages, rules, agents and history exactly as they are.
Question: Do I get the comments posted while Facebook was disconnected?
Answer: Not automatically. Comments resume from the reconnection and the gap is not backfilled. Load the affected post in Post cleanup to fetch every comment on it from the platform, including the ones from the gap.
