Result when done: A brand with several pages reads as one business everywhere in the app.
Context: A group ties a Facebook Page and an Instagram account, and any other pages of the same brand, into one thing you can filter by in the inbox and in Insights. Page groups are included from Growth.

Before you start:
1. A page belongs to one group at a time.
2. Groups are for reading, not for permissions; page access for teammates is separate.
3. Groups appear as a Brand filter in the inbox and in Insights.

Steps:
Step 1 of 3: Open Page groups.
Where: Settings, Pages, then Page groups under the connected pages.

You should see: Existing groups, each with the pages in it, and a way to create one.

Step 2 of 3: Create the group.
Where: Name it after the brand, tick its pages, and create. An icon can be picked so it is recognisable in a filter.

You should see: The group listed with its page count and their names.

Step 3 of 3: Use it as a filter.
Where: Brand, in the inbox filters and in Insights. It covers every page in the group.

You should see: One view across the brand rather than one page at a time.

If something is off:
Problem: A page cannot be added to a group
Fix: It is already in another one. Edit that group first.
Problem: The Brand filter is missing
Fix: No groups exist yet. Create one on the Pages tab.
Problem: Does a group change who sees what
Fix: No. Teammate access is set per page on the Users tab.

Common questions:
Question: Can I create a page group on Starter?
Answer: No. Page groups start on Growth. On Starter, Create group shows a lock and the plan that opens it, and a group made in the trial is kept for an upgrade.
Question: Can I put a Facebook Page and its Instagram account in one group?
Answer: Yes. That is what a group is for: it ties a Facebook Page and an Instagram account, and any other pages of the same brand, into one thing you can filter by in the inbox and in Insights.
Question: Where does a page group show up once I create it?
Answer: As a Brand filter in the inbox filters and in Insights, covering every page in the group. On a phone, Brand sits in the Filters sheet.
Question: Can I give a page group an icon?
Answer: Yes. When you create a group you name it after the brand, tick its pages, and can pick an icon so it is recognisable in a filter.
Question: Which plans include page groups?
Answer: No. Page groups are included from Growth, with Pro and Elite. A group made during the trial is kept on a smaller plan and comes back on upgrade.
