Guide: Missing pages in the list
This page: https://commentwatchdog.com/help/pages/missing-pages-in-the-list
Topic: Pages and connections
Time: about 3 minutes
Who can do it: Owner or Administrator
Author: https://anantgupta.xyz (Anant Gupta, founder of CommentWatchDog)
Start in the app: https://app.commentwatchdog.com/en/settings/pages
Result when done: The page you manage appears in Available to add.
Context: A page can be missing for three reasons: it was left unselected in the Facebook dialog, your Facebook role on it is too limited, or it is an Instagram account without a linked Facebook Page.

Before you start:
1. CommentWatchDog can only see what your Facebook login manages.
2. Facebook task-level roles are not always enough; full Page access is.
3. Instagram accounts appear through their linked Facebook Page.

Steps:
Step 1 of 3: Reconnect and select everything.
Where: Reconnect Facebook on the Pages tab. In the dialog, make sure every page you want is ticked; it is easy to miss one.

You should see: The page appears in Available to add.

Step 2 of 3: Check your role on the Page.
Where: In Facebook, the Page has to be one your account manages with full access. A task-level role can read but not moderate, and such a page may not be offered.
You should see: With full access, the page is offered in the dialog.

Step 3 of 3: For Instagram, link it and refresh.
Where: In Instagram: Settings, Business tools and controls, then connect or link a Facebook Page. Back here, press Refresh pages at the top of Available to add.

You should see: The Instagram account appears with its mark, ready to add.

If something is off:
Problem: No pages found on this Facebook account
Fix: That login manages none, or none were selected. Reconnect with the account that manages your Pages.
Problem: It is a personal profile
Fix: Personal profiles are not supported by Meta for this. It has to be a Page.
Problem: It is a group
Fix: Groups are not supported. Comments on group posts cannot be moderated through the API.

Common questions:
Question: Which Facebook role do I need for a page to be offered?
Answer: Full Page access. A task-level role on Facebook can read but not moderate, and such a page may not be offered in the dialog; CommentWatchDog can only see what your Facebook login manages.
Question: Where is the Refresh pages button?
Answer: At the top of Available to add on the Pages tab. Press it after linking an Instagram account to a Facebook Page, and the account appears with its mark, ready to add.
Question: Can I add a page that belongs to someone else's Facebook account?
Answer: No. CommentWatchDog can only see what your Facebook login manages. A workspace has one Facebook login, and pages under a different login cannot be added to it.
