Start in the app: https://app.commentwatchdog.com/en/settings/notifications?tab=device
Result when done: The app is on your home screen and notifications work.
Context: On Android, Chrome installs the app in one tap and notifications work from either the installed app or the browser.

Before you start:
1. Use Chrome; other browsers vary.
2. Installing is one tap from the menu.
3. Notifications are per device, like everywhere else.

Steps:
Step 1 of 3: Open the app in Chrome.
Where: Sign in at the app address in Chrome on the phone.

Step 2 of 3: Install it.

If something is off:
Problem: There is no install option
Fix: Some Android browsers do not support it. Use Chrome.
Problem: Notifications are blocked
Fix: Allow them in Chrome site settings, or in Android settings for the installed app.
Problem: The app opens in the browser
Fix: Open it from the home screen icon rather than a bookmark.

Common questions:

Answer: No. On Android, notifications work from either the installed app or the browser. Use Chrome; installing is one tap from the menu but is not required for notifications.
