Result when done: A useful automation exists in one click, and you only change what you disagree with.
Context: Three ready-made recipes cover what most pages need first: calming complaints, thanking happy customers, and archiving emoji-only comments. A recipe fills the editor in and leaves everything editable.

Before you start:
1. A recipe prefills the form; nothing is saved until you save it.
2. The words and the replies are examples, meant to be changed.
3. A recipe belongs to the page you are on.

Steps:
Step 1 of 3: Open the Automation tab on a page with no automations.
Where: The recipes appear under Start with a ready-made recipe, each showing its trigger words and its reply.

Step 2 of 3: Use one and read what it filled in.
Where: Use this recipe. The editor opens with the trigger, the keywords and the reply already written.

You should see: A complete automation, ready to be checked rather than written.

Step 3 of 3: Change it to your words and save.
Where: Replace the keywords with the ones your customers use and the reply with your own wording. Then save.

You should see: The automation is listed and starts on the next matching comment.

If something is off:
Problem: The recipes are not shown
Fix: They appear when a page has no automations yet. Create one manually instead.
Problem: The recipe reply is not how we speak
Fix: Change it. Every part of a recipe is editable before you save.
Problem: I used a recipe on the wrong page
Fix: Delete the automation on that page and use the recipe on the right one.

Question: Which ready-made automation recipes does CommentWatchDog offer?
Answer: Three: calm down complaints, thank happy customers, and archive emoji-only comments. Each shows its trigger words and its reply under Start with a ready-made recipe on the Automation tab.
Question: Is a recipe live as soon as I press Use this recipe?
Answer: No. A recipe prefills the editor with the trigger, the keywords and the reply; nothing is saved until you press Save. It starts on the next matching comment after that.
Question: Does a recipe apply to all my pages at once?
Answer: No. A recipe belongs to the page you are on, like any automation. Open the Automation tab on each page that needs it; the recipes appear there while a page has no automations yet.
