Guide: Send cards
This page: https://commentwatchdog.com/help/flow-steps/send-cards
Topic: Flow steps
Time: about 3 minutes
Who can do it: Owner, Administrator or Manager
Author: https://anantgupta.xyz (Anant Gupta, founder of CommentWatchDog)
Start in the app: https://app.commentwatchdog.com/en/inbox
Result when done: Up to ten cards in a carousel, each with an image and buttons.
Context: Cards send a carousel people swipe: a menu, three products, your plans. Each card has an image, a title, a subtitle and up to three buttons that open a link or lead to a step.

Before you start:
1. Up to 10 cards; a title and a subtitle of up to 80 characters each.
2. A card needs a subtitle, an image or a button besides its title.
3. Instagram's website does not show cards; Messenger crops card images to 1.91:1.

Steps:
Step 1 of 4: Add Cards to your flow.
Where: Open the flow (Automation, then the flow's row). In the Steps panel on the left, under Send, drag Cards onto the canvas, or select the step it should follow and click Cards. On a phone: Add step at the top left of the canvas, then Cards under Send. It needs an open chat: in a comment flow it goes after the private reply's tap.

You should see: The Cards card is on the canvas and its settings panel is open (a sheet on a phone).

Step 2 of 4: Fill in the first card.
Where: Panel, Card 1: the image on top (Add image while the card has none; it comes from your library), then the title and the subtitle in the two boxes under it.

You should see: The card on the canvas shows the first card's title.

Step 3 of 4: Give it buttons.
Where: Under the card's fields: Add button, up to 3 per card. Each opens a link or goes to a step, like a message's buttons.

You should see: Each step button is a way out of the step.

Step 4 of 4: Add more cards.
Where: Add card at the end of the list, up to 10. They go out in the order of the list.

You should see: The step on the canvas counts the extra cards (+2 more cards).

If something is off:
Problem: Card 2 needs a line, an image or a button besides its title
Fix: Meta refuses a card with only a title. Add a subtitle, an image or a button.
Problem: The title is cut
Fix: Titles and subtitles are 80 characters at most.

Question: How many cards can one step send?
Answer: Up to 10, each with up to 3 buttons.
Question: Do cards show on Instagram's website?
